About Sara

Sara takes a practical and supportive approach to nutrition, offering advice that is realistic and easy to follow. She focuses on gradual, balanced change rather than quick fixes, helping clients make small, sustainable improvements to their eating and exercise routines. With patience, commitment and a positive attitude, these changes add up to long term lifestyle improvements and a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Sara holds a certification in adult weight management and provides nutrition counselling, weight management programs and customised meal plans based on each client’s food preferences, lifestyle and goals. She incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing and nutrition education to help clients overcome barriers and develop healthier habits.

For athletes and active individuals, Sara brings her own experience as a recreational athlete to the table. She offers sports nutrition services tailored to performance, recognising that not all calories are equal and that timing, quantity and quality of food are essential for peak performance. Diet plans are customised to each person’s sport, activity level, body type, age and gender.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys cooking, travelling and exploring new restaurants and food trends in Ottawa and beyond. She maintains an active lifestyle that includes cycling, hiking, powerlifting and marathon running, bringing first hand knowledge of sports nutrition to her practice.
